Patriot's Point Unit
This unit is based on the "Oscar I am" Patriot’s Point book.During the unit, we will have 2 field trips. The first field trip is to Patriot’s Point and the second field trip is to Bull’s Island. The book covers many 5th grade standards. I incorporated art, drama, a guest speaker and use of technology throughout the unit. I will also incorporate the student’s use of the Ipads in the unit by creating art and doing research. I will also use tedtalks and other videos to introduce topics and create deeper thinking among the students.
